Ts & Cs Once a diagnosis of your IT issue has been made, we will make every reasonable effort to fix it remotely - by phone, email or remote access - such fixes may involve user participation to insert software disks or reboot the computer. If a fix is not possible or is impractical remotely, we may suggest a call-out. This will incur a call-out charge and hourly labour charge unless you also have call-out insurance and labour insurance.

With Live Tune you simply call us up and we take control of your machine, clear out the junk that's slowing you down and get you running at full speed again with a clean, fast and more reliable computer. As the junk builds up so your machine slows down again - not a problem, just phone us up as often as you need to and we'll tune it up for you.

Ts & Cs Live Tune uses several utilities that clean, scan and optimise your computer. These will be left on your computer and will be used each time a Live Tune is performed, and will be upgraded or updated as necessary.

A small piece of software on your computer will upload your important files to our secure server every day, or as often as you like. You will also be able to access the files from any internet connected PC in the world using your secure login - no additional software is required for this.

Ts & Cs The Data Vault has an average availability of 99.9%. The service and software are provided 'as is' and we do not offer any guarantees for the data stored. As the Data Vault is treated by your computer as an additional hard drive, it is liable to the same potential problems as a hard drive - accidental deletion of data or overwriting of data. You should periodically check backed up data for full peace of mind.

Although many problems can be resolved remotely, sometimes a site visit is required, for example if your computer won't switch on or start Windows. In these cases a call-out charge of £40+VAT is made. With call-out insurance you can have unlimited support visits and no call-out charge will be made. Call-out insurance pays for itself with just one site visit per year.

Ts & Cs Call-out insurance covers the call-out portion of the support call. It does not include parts or time spent on site. Labour is billed at £50+ VAT per hour unless Labour insurance is taken out. Call-out insurance only applies to support calls. Call-outs charges for upgrades, hardware installations, office reorganisation and network maintenance still apply.

When we pay a site visit to fix your computer an hourly charge of £50+VAT is made. With labour insurance you can have unlimited time spent on fixing your computer at no additional charge. With a typical site visit lasting 2 hours, labour insurance pays for itself with just one fix per year. If the equipment is covered by a manufacturer's warranty we will manage the return to the manufacturer free of charge as part of the labour insurance service (you will still pay the postage charges, if any).

Ts & Cs Call-out insurance covers the labour portion of a PC or Laptop fix. This can also be used when the equipment is dropped off at our premises. We will manage returns under warranty to the manufacturer. However, this does not cover the cost of postage back to the manufacturer. Labour insurance only applies to support calls. Labour charges for upgrades, hardware installations, office reorganisation and network maintenance still apply.

Your computer has been fixed under warranty or replaced - great! But what about all of the software, settings and files? You now have to set about reinstalling every application and restoring your documents from the backup. This can take many frustrating hours. With Speedy Recovery, we will take a clone of your computer and restore it onto your fixed machine, the new replacement or one of our temporary replacement machines. In less than an hour you will be sitting in front of your own computer - your icons, settings, software and documents.

Ts & Cs We will take an image of your computer every month or as required and use this to recover your user environment and the backup of your files (e.g. from your Data Vault) to restore your computer to its last good state in the event of a catastrophic failure.

When the worst happens and you need to either send your laptop or PC away to be fixed or it is lost or stolen and you are waiting for the replacement, don't be without one - have one of ours! We'll set up a computer on your network and it's yours to work on for up to 3 weeks. Hiring a temporary replacement laptop costs £40+VAT per week

Ts & Cs If you computer is broken the replacement is available provided the broken machine has been sent for repair. If the computer has been lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, the replacement is available provided a new machine has been ordered. The replacement may be kept for 3 weeks or until your machine is repaired or replaced.If the loan period extends beyond 3 weeks due to the repair or replacement being delayed, a charge of £40+VAT per week (or part thereof) is payable.
